#1 Source-to-emitter solutions for all building types

In this video, Diem Kemper, product marketing director, talks about source-to-emitter solutions for all building types. He emphasises the support and presence of Aalberts hydronic flow control on all existing elements between the heat source and the emitter (water treatment, collector, monitoring, etc.)

For all types of buildings – commercial heating, large residential buildings with district heating, commercial cooling or small residential (domestic) buildings – Aalberts hfc offers solutions designed from scratch. These can come as prefabricated units or in separate parts, which are easier to install and transport (and ideal for optimising space.)

#2 Optimal comfort and control in residential buildings

Gordon Schadwinkel takes the floor to discuss thermal comfort in buildings. He is responsible for product management at the Gerichshain site near Leipzig.

In this session, he explains how to regulate the temperature in residential buildings (heating and cooling) while respecting constraints like the temperature emitter or restricted space. To illustrate this, he demonstrates three Aalberts hydronic flow control products: the LogoMatic G2 Hybrid, the LogoMatic G2 4RS, and the LogoEco G2 Hybrid.

#3 Maximising energy efficiency of HVAC systems through balancing

The AutoSar range has many advantages: it is qualitative, fast, simple and efficient. It’s suitable for new constructions and renovations, and for the latter, AutoSar valves are compatible with heat pumps.

In this session, Peter Schneiders, Regional Sales Manager, presents the main advantages of this range for HVAC systems. He discusses how heating systems are frequently faced with fluctuating differential pressures and flow rates. It is, therefore, essential to examine the potential of hydronic balancing offerings – in both new and existing buildings – to achieve climate neutrality goals.

#4 & 5 Towards a greener future: underfloor heating & cooling solutions

Patrick Fraikin, Managing Director of Belux, speaks about how a heating and cooling system through the ground (underfloor heating) functions as a low-temperature system. He explains how this system can help you make your buildings more environmentally friendly.

The main advantage of this solution is that the heating is distributed evenly, meaning real energy savings compared to a radiator. It also comes with many controlling options. It’s compatible with different energy sources, with all types of buildings, for renovations and new constructions. With Aalberts hfc’s support, choosing the right fixing system for your needs is easy.

#6 Comfortable buildings rely on balancing and control: take advantage of it

Maxcens Fernandes, Product Line Sales Manager, takes the floor in this session. He works on the Emitter Comfort Control and Balancing and Control product lines.

He focuses on the importance of balancing heat systems. In particular, he explains how to correctly distribute the flows into the different emitters of an installation so that power and temperature are well distributed in a building. He also discusses the new market trends in balancing and control solutions and how this topic can impact a building’s life cycle and stakeholders.

#7 The role of thermal energy storage in sustainable heating and cooling

Charles Paulsen, Sales Line Director, focuses on thermal energy storage and room-by-room temperature management. He emphasises how it can significantly contribute to the decarbonisation of global heat and power generation, drawing from a recent McKinsey report on sustainable development.

The rise of renewable energies is driving the need for thermal storage. To find out if you are affected, you should discuss with customers how they realise this change in different building types/application areas.

#8 Digital solutions to make your buildings smart

In his excellence session, Jeroen van Hooijdonk, Manager Digital Propositions, speaks about the increasing need to use smart tools and solutions in buildings to ensure their energy efficiency, such as Comap Smart Home.

He defines digitalisation and its relevance in the heating and cooling industry. He also outlines the main benefits you can expect from system optimisation and control:

  • How should you consider it?
  • What is the future of digitalisation integration in terms of emitter control and system optimisation?

#9 Elevate building efficiency with smart building solutions

Emiel Woestenberg, digital director products and connectivity, focuses on digitalisation, smart buildings and service efficiency.

At Aalberts hfc, connected products and the available mobile network infrastructure enable the use of data for various services. The hfc experts provide several digital services such as energy efficiency and controls. Aalberts hfc also offers Flamconnect Remote to remotely diagnose and control all boiler room and energy distribution technologies, such as automatic pressurisers and thermal interface units.

#10 Water Quality means energy efficiency and the protection of your heating and cooling installation

Michael Hamacher is a Regional Sales Manager, and he is responsible for sales in eight federal states. He works at UWS Technologie, a manufacturer of heating water treatment products, that is also part of Aalberts hfc.

After explaining the link between Heatpower24, UWS Technologie and Aalberts hfc, he focuses on why heating water treatment is so important. He gives some answers about water quality:

  • What kind of water does the heating system need?
  • What solutions to use?

Aalberts hfc has extensive expertise in solutions from source to emitter, combining the excellence of Comap and Flamco.
